How does Learning Studio collect data?
Accounts are created and maintained based on integration with PeopleData and member input.
Why does Learning Studio collect this data?
Learning Studio needs to collect data to provide access, provide content recommendations, create a learning community, and support colleagues in learning on their development journeys.
How long does Learning Studio retain data?
Your data is maintained throughout your time at H&M Group. Retention policies post-employment are based on local regulations; breakdown below. To request that your data be deleted, contact Global Helpdesk.

How does Learning Studio use AI?
Learning Studio leverages machine learning for personalisation. The offering of content is determined by member identified learning goals and further informed by user interaction. There is no additional functionality to the AI outside of suggestions via machine learning.
How does Learning Studio data integrate with a browser extension?
To support learning in the flow of work, the Learning Studio is available as a browser extension. Members can opt into this feature. Only login credentials are stored. No data is captured in the browser search history.
How does Learning Studio data integrate with Microsoft Teams?
To support learning in the flow of work, the Learning Studio is available as an app in Teams. Members can opt into this feature by way of adding the app to their Teams experience, or integrating a particular component of the Learning Studio into a Teams Channel. No data is captured outside of login credentials.
What are points and why are they always visible?:
Points are part of the gamification of the platform. We do not use it for any performance-based evaluation, and they are not used in any ranking, scoring, or evaluation of our colleagues.
What is the relationship between content libraries?:

To enable single-sign-on, your Grow login username is saved in Learning Studio.

Is integrated between both platforms, so completions records are shared.
LinkedIn Learning
Accounts in LinkedIn Learning will be created in the moment, should you not have one already. Login details and content completions are shared between the system, so long as the content is integrated with Learning Studio. By default, there is no relationship to personal LinkedIn accounts. Only content that exists in both platforms will be reflected in both places (historical completions of LinkedIn Learning content will not be captured in Learning Studio).
Microsoft Learn
Microsoft Learn is a free learning tool. No personal data is exchanged.
Who has access to what?
All members
All Learning Studio members can view and manage their own profiles. Member profiles are built using organisational structure & data fields from PeopleData and driven by the member. Their privacy settings on the “Me” page (profile) determine what other members of the Learning Studio can see. As a group member, all members can see details on colleagues who are also members of the group.

Purpose: Establish personal learning goals, display skills, view content (if creating content), view channels followed & group memberships.

Member visibility within a Group

Managers
Based on H&M Group organisational structure in PeopleData, staff responsible colleagues are provided access to a Manager Dashboard. The dashboard gives visibility into their team skills and assigned content completion progress.
Purpose: follow up in assigned learnings for compliance/regulatory needs

Group Leaders
Group Leaders manage membership for target groups based on the requirements for the group(s). They can assign content to users and review basic analytics. They are leading engagement and interacting with members to deliver relevant content.

Central Admin
Selected members of the Colleague Development & Growth Product Team have Admin access to the Learning Studio for access management.

All elements of the skills passport are identified by the member. Managers have visibility into their teams’ skills, and members can see each other’s skills on their profile card upon search.
